Petrol in Diesel Car

Petrol however does not have these lubricating properties and will cause rapid deterioration of these injection components if not attended to urgently. The moment the car has been started the petrol mix is pumped into the injection system. This needs to be rectified urgently.

Putting Diesel in a Petrol Car is not as common as putting Petrol in a Diesel car. The diesel fuel pump nozzle is larger than the petrol pump nozzle and does not fit into the filler of a modern car.
